Player does not support the specified protocol, make sure
that the Player is configured to supported HTTP protocol.
To do so, please follow the next steps:
1. Run Windows Media Player.
2. On the main menu*, Click “Tools” menu ► click
"Options" – a window will open.
3. Choose "Network" tab.
4. Under " Streaming Protocols", make sure that the
following are Unchecked:
· Multicast.
· UDP.
· TCP.
5. Make sure that the HTTP box is checked.
6. Repeat clicking “OK” until all the Windows Media
Player options dialogs are closed and try to watch the
next clip: Test VideoIn case this did not solve the problem, it may indicate
that the protocol file is damaged.
In order to fix this problem, please do the following:
1. Click “Start” ► “Run”.
2. In the Open box, Type:
%USERPROFILE%\local settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows Media\
3. Click "OK" – a window will open.
4. Mark the library that it’s name is your Windows
Media Player Edition.
5. Press "F2" key to change the library name to
"TEMP" and press "ENTER" key.
